Strangely creepy is one way to describe The Dead Will Walk, Dear. Murder ballad after murder ballad, directed to and about the girl he loves, or in this case did love.

This is a great understated folk album that hides its dark subject matter well unless you really listen to the word being sung. It will be interesting to see if he can produce another album with such a strong theme, and if he does will it be the same theme again?
