Joshua Black Wilkins & The Forty Volts – While You Wait

You know those rock & Roll guys. With slicked back hair they like classic cars, tattoos, and possibly a bit of rockabilly music on the side. I may not be one of these guys, but my mechanic sure as hell is . (If yours isn’t, then you probably need to find a new mechanic, just saying)

Now I’m not saying that Joshua Black Wilkins is actually one of these guys, but his music reminds me of these guys, and in a way that makes me want a little more hair on my head so I could slick it back and go join them. This album does have a fair share of country influence bleeding through, but it ain’t slowing down for any sad songs, it keeps that sadness bottled to be used up as violence and rage.

Another great album for playing loud with the windows down in your car.
