More country is needed here I think.
Listen While You Read
[audio:http://www.transientfolk.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/01-time-forgot-to-change-my-heart.mp3|titles=Daniel Romano – time forgot (to change my heart)]Daniel Romanos music has a very old school feel to it and reminds me a lot of the late Gram Parsons, who I also have a lot of love for.
The two track I have put up here are definite gold.
Buy the album bandcamp here.

Good find, and appropriate for the day after Canada day too.
At first I heard the old cliche of heartbreak and country, but these songs go beyond that.
His voice is what makes it special i think, ‘genuine’ is how I’d describe it I guess.
Anyway, I’m going to have to listen to some more of his stuff.
Thanks for the find.
I was just watching a video about David Eugene Edwards (16 Horsepower) and in it talks about people being “honest” in their music. I think the best music is the stuff that sounds sincere to the person listening.
